Looking for a fun, creative way to spend your Saturday? Join us for our Blind Date with a Book & Craft Workshop, where you’ll experience the thrill of discovering a mystery book and create a unique craft for book lovers!
Here’s how it works: You’ll pick a wrapped book, a "blind date" you won’t know until you open it. It could be a new release, a classic, or something unexpected! After your book reveal, we’ll guide you through a creative craft project - choose to make an 8x8" wood sign to put on your book shelf or a cozy pillow!
This workshop is perfect for book lovers and craft enthusiasts alike, offering a chance to discover something new to read while unleashing your creativity. Sip on coffee, meet fellow bookworms, and enjoy a relaxing morning crafting and reading!
What’s Included:
A wrapped book (all books will be different and provided by Paper & String Books)
All materials needed for your craft - Choose your design & project ahead of time when you register
Step-by-step guidance from our instructor
25+ paints/stains to choose from to customize your project
A fun and cozy atmosphere to craft, sip, and chat

HOW TO REGISTER:
Choose a Design for your project (drop down menu will match picture once you choose one)
Choose to make either an 8x8" wood sign or 12" Pillow (pillow case & pillow insert included)

Terms & Conditions:
***Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized project. Due to the customizations of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS!
If you cancel within 24 hours of placing your order your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for a future workshop.
This is a specialty workshop - if you can no longer attend the workshop we can package up your craft & mystery book for you to unwrap & create at home!
Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. Due to the customizations of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS! However, if you cancel with at least 48-hours-notice your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for future workshops. Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT get a credit for a future workshop! Please email us (hammerandstainns@gmail.com) to cancel. If you do not show up for a workshop that you have a spot reserved, you forfeit your payment. If you have to cancel we can hold your project for up to 60 days for you to come in and complete at one of our Open Paints/Studio times or to bring home and complete.
