Get ready for a little mahjong, a little crafting, and a whole lot of fun!
Join us at Hammer & Stain North Shore for The Crafty Tile, a special pop-up event in collaboration with Beverly Mahjong Collective!
This unique workshop brings together the best of both worlds — creativity and mahjong! Whether you're looking to enjoy some time at the mahjong table or get crafty with friends, this event is the perfect opportunity to mix, mingle, and make something special.
Here's how it works:
We'll split into two groups. While one group gets creative with a hands-on craft project - create & decorate a small dish (perfect for holding dice or use it as a jewelry dish), the second group enjoys two rounds of open-play mahjong. Then we'll swap so everyone gets to experience both activities!
We will have napkins on hand to decoupage as well as 25+ paint colors to paint/decorate your dish. We will also have pressed flowers available to use and our UV resin to seal in your design. **If you have specific napkins you would like to use for the decoupage please bring them with you.
Come ready to craft, play, laugh, and enjoy a fun night out!
**Please note - you must already know how to play Mahjong for this event as it is NOT a teaching how to play event.
Event lasts approx. 2-2.5 hours.

*** Please note this is a specialty workshop - NO REFUNDS! If you can't attend the workshop we will hold onto your project for 60 days for you to come in & create it during one of our upcoming drop in open paint/craft events!
If you cancel within 24 hours of placing your order your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for a future workshop.
** You must EMAIL us at: Hammerandstainns@gmail.com if you can not attend a workshop. If you do not show up for a workshop and do not notify us, you forfeit your payment & project.
Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. Due to the customizations of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS! However, if you cancel with at least 48-hours-notice your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for future workshops. Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT get a credit for a future workshop! Please email us (hammerandstainns@gmail.com) to cancel. If you do not show up for a workshop that you have a spot reserved, you forfeit your payment. If you have to cancel we can hold your project for up to 60 days for you to come in and complete at one of our Open Paints/Studio times or to bring home and complete.
